Field Trips

The Shaw Center stays in use year-round.  Our daytime activities include field trips during the school year and summer camps during the summer.  Our evening and weekend activities are primarily high school robotics activities and family steam nights.

Field Trips:

·         Every Katy ISD 3rd Grader visits the Shaw Center at some time of the year.

·         Every Katy ISD 7th Grader visits the Shaw Center at some time of the year.

·         Designed to support the science curriculum as well as be a fun and inspiring experience for students.

7th Grade Students are working on the Mighty Mug activity

 
3 students are building a boat using crafting materials.

 
3rd grade students are testing out the wing design for an activity called Wind Turbines.
